You’ll be asked to make a theoretical model about an economical, logistic, engineering or corporate topic that will be assigned by our partner on the competition day.
You’ll build an actual working prototype using practical abilities. The topic will be given by our partner on the competition day.
Does IBEC not ring a bell? IBEC - before EBEC - is the biggest Italian engineering competition organised by students for students. Challenge your imagination with the Case Study and create a theoretical solution to a given problem. You like a more “hands-on” approach? Explore your creativity with the Innovative Design, in which you will create a prototype of your solution to a given problem with materials we will provide. How much will it cost?
The event is totally free, we’ll offer you coffee breaks, lunch, materials for Innovative Design and the awards evening.
How long does it last?
The competition lasts the whole day, from 8:30 to 18:30. The evaluation of both Case Study and Innovative Design will start in the following days after the Competition.
How many people in one team?
Each team is composed by 4 people.
Can I apply with my friends?
During the application form you can express as preferences your friends Student ID. In any case they have to do the application too.
How do I apply?
The application has two phases: 1. Application online through this website. 2. To confirm your application we ask you a 10€ deposit that you’ll receive back after the event.
I don’t have a team, can I apply?
Yes you can and the system will give you a team.
