BEST 
BEST is a non-profit and non-political European organisation of students of technology. Since 1989 we have provided communication, cooperation and exchange of students, in the most important Technical Faculties and Universities all over Europe.
Through 79 Local BEST groups (LBGs) in 30 different countries we are growing as a well-organised, powerful, young and innovative student network.
One of the main aims of BEST is to develop activities in order to help European students of technology to become more internationally minded, by reaching a better understanding of European cultures and developing capacities to work on an international basis.
This is achieved through:
-BEST courses that offers to students of technology extra skills and knowledge, missing in their academic curriculum and, at the same time, encourage their mobility and intercultural communication.
-BEST Career Support. is an online service of BEST that connects students with companies. It gives you a chance to browse through offers from companies and universities and also promote yourself to these companies by entering your CV.
All these initiatives have the particularity of being completely free for those who participate. This is possible because the BEST group organizer is concerned to find the money from sponsors - such as corporations, foundations or government grants - to cover all costs.

The core of BEST consists of Local BEST Groups (LBG) scattered across Europe. There is only one LBG for each universities. The main activity of LBGs is organizing and promoting international events and activities that takes place in their university.
All BEST activities are completely free and this requires a lot of work for members of the LBG (usually called Besties) that have to fundraise the money to the various events.
Thanks to this, the Besties acquire knowledge and experience in working in teams that helps them in their future career and life.
Our group is composed by 5 people (Board) who coordinate 20 active members. We are supported by Alumni, graduate students, who gives us advice and help thanks to their long experience in Best.
