About usWhat is BEST

BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) is a non-profit and voluntary European organisation for students of technology. Since 1989 we have been creating a growing, dynamic, innovative and well organised network of students, which provides complementary education for future engineers by encouraging communication, cooperation and exchange of students in the exclusive technical universities and faculties. Our priority is to offer high quality services to technical students from all over Europe.

BEST Politecnico di Torino is a co-founder of the network BEST, member since 1989. During these 27 years, BEST contributed substantially to the internationalization process of Politecnico di Torino. Thanks to BEST, more than 2500 foreigner students had the opportunity to participate to free academical courses at Politecnico and discover the huge artistic, enogastronomic and industrial heritage of Piedmont.
Our mission is developing students. We help students achieve an international mindset and reach better understanding of cultures and societies in order to develop their capacity to work in culturally diverse environments.
Through all these initiatives we empower diversity: we strive to achieve an environment that supports people in acting responsibly and applying their full potential in the academic and professional field.

Our Course Welcome to INDUSTRY 4.0

Every year BEST Politecnico di Torino organizes an Academical Course on Technology, open to all European students in universities members of the network. We will select only few of the 450 applying students and give them the opportunity to receive an advanced academical and extracurricural education. They will share ideas with students coming from different countries and learn everything about italian culture and Piedmont.

This year our Spring Course will concern the Fourth Industrial Revolution, that, through technologies like Big Data, Analytics and Additive Manufacturing, is creating a new kind of industry, more efficient, smart and green.

How will it change our society?
How is the idea of work evolving?
What kind of issues a change of this importance will bring?

In twelve days we will try to find the answers to these questions through enthusiastic lectures, workshops, company visits and a final case study to put in practice what we have learnt. Join the revolution and discover the industry of the future with us!

The best thing about this course was that thanks to organizers we had opportunity to develop in many areas. We had a lot of possibilities to learn about our cultures and to make bonds, gain a lot from lectures but still enjoy parties.
